CBChainBay

How ChainBay works

A Solana-first marketplace for physical and digital goods.

ChainBay lets buyers browse openly, pay with SOL, and use a protected order flow with payment verification, delivery tracking, seller reputation, reviews, messages, and dispute support.

For buyers

Shop with a protected checkout flow

1

Browse before connecting

Explore listings, categories, seller storefronts, photos, prices, and trust signals before connecting a wallet.

2

Pay with SOL

When you are ready to buy, ChainBay creates an order and your wallet approves the SOL payment.

3

Payment is verified

ChainBay checks the Solana transaction on the server before the seller can fulfill the order.

4

Receive the item

Physical orders get shipping and tracking updates. Digital orders show access details after seller delivery.

5

Confirm or dispute

Confirm delivery when everything looks right. If something is wrong, open a dispute before funds are released.

For sellers

Sell with clear orders and payout tracking

1

Create a clear listing

Add honest details, accurate photos, pricing, quantity, and physical or digital delivery expectations.

2

Buyer checks out

The buyer pays with SOL. ChainBay verifies payment before moving the order into fulfillment.

3

Fulfill the order

Ship the physical item with tracking or provide digital access through the order flow.

4

Buyer reviews delivery

The buyer confirms delivery after checking the item, or can open a dispute if something is wrong.

5

Funds are released

Seller payout is released through the order flow after delivery confirmation, review, or dispute resolution.

On-chain payment checks

ChainBay verifies submitted Solana transactions before orders move forward.

Delivery confirmation

Buyers confirm physical delivery or digital access before normal release.

Dispute support

If something goes wrong, buyers and sellers can use order messages, evidence, and admin review.

Payment holding explained

What happens to payment during an order?

The buyer's payment is held within ChainBay's protected order flow instead of being released to the seller immediately. This gives the buyer time to receive and review the item while giving the seller a clear order record after payment is verified.

1. Buyer pays

The buyer approves the SOL payment through their wallet at checkout.

2. Order is fulfilled

The seller ships the item or provides digital delivery after payment is verified.

3. Funds release

Payment is released through the order flow after confirmation, review, or dispute resolution.

Payment architecture roadmap

ChainBay currently uses marketplace-controlled order states, payment verification, audit trails, and a configured escrow wallet flow. The long-term roadmap is deeper Solana program-controlled escrow as the marketplace matures.
